Over 120 Cloud experts and stakeholders participated in the international symposium “Building Trust in Cloud”, which was organised together with EuroCloud Austria and SECCRIT.
16.10.2014: BRZ welcomes a delegation from Georgia
The BRZ operates the largest e-government data center in Austria. Security, quality and cost efficiency are important success factors. A high-level delegation led by the Vice Minister of Finance of Georgia took a visit to learn from the BRZ know-how.
27.08.2014: Announcing "Building Trust in Cloud"
The event “Building Trust in Cloud” will take place on the 23rd of September 2014 in Vienna at the Federal Computing Centre of Austria (BRZ). The purpose of this event is to bring together various cloud initiatives and research projects and other interested stakeholders. Organizing parties are the SECCRIT consortium, EURITAS and EuroCloud.
14.07.2014: Austro Control uses ELAKlight
The electronic file recording system (ELAK) has a small, slender brother: ELAKlight. It is a powerful, individually customizable document management system for smaller organizational units. Austria’s aviation authority has recently brought this e-government service into its daily operations.
03.06.2014: Cloud for Europe workshops
The BRZ is project partner of Cloud for Europe, a project that supports public sector cloud use as collaboration between public authorities and industry. Two workshops will be organized in London this month. Take part!
07.05.2014: US students visit BRZ
Students of the master program "IT Management" from Richmond, U.S.A. visited the offices of the BRZ. Some of them work in administration-related organizations. Thus, E-Government in Austria is of particular interest to them.
23.04.2014: Swiss CMS meets Austrian CMS
Experts from the Federal Office of Information Technology, Systems and Telecommunication (BIT) from Switzerland have visited the Federal Computing Centre in Austria to share their best practices and experiences from the project cms.nextgen - the Swiss equivalent of the Austrian federal CMS.
03.04.2014: BRZ welcomes a delegation from Mongolia
The Austrian Federal Computing Centre (BRZ) gradually simplifies the workflow of the federal administration. A delegation from the National Data Center of Mongolia came for a visit to gain an impression of the expertise in e-Government. The know-how in the field of justice was of particular interest to the visitors.
27.03.2014: New Euritas member from the Netherlands:
Euritas is welcoming a new member from the Netherlands: Samenwerking Noord. Samenwerking Noord is a joint collaboration of (semi) government organizations in the field of ICT in the Northern Netherlands. The partnership was launched in 2010 and has grown to 24 contracting parties up to now.
20.03.2014: ROMANIA IS INCREASINGLY FOCUSING ON E-GOVERNMENT
Public administration and citizens are equally profiting from e-Government. The BRZ has developed IT services that have assisted the federal government in the process of modernizing its administration.
A Romanian delegation came for a visit to gain an impression of our know-how.
