The staffing management procedure of the federal government was reorganised by the BRZ using the standard software SAP to create an increasingly performance oriented governance. The main objective is to equip the 160 federal offices with the necessary tools that are required to implement the modernised personnel management.

The SAP service catalogue of the BRZ includes service-operation, -support, -integration, -delivery and service design. Moreover, the services also include consulting and customer support, trouble shooting, solution deployment and the collaboration with customer related marketing activities.

One of the main benefits of PM-SAP is the replacement of existing ICT applications with a uniform and consistent staffing management -, administrative – and billing system. Furthermore, the correctness of the entries and avoiding possible incorrect entries or the manipulation is ensured through redundant supervision. Data protection is fully guaranteed.
